One of my favourite moments from Laura and Kenya's wedding day was the incredibly romantic picnic they shared after their wedding ceremony before we drove around for photographs. I had never seen this done on a wedding day before and I thought it was so sweet.
Laura and Kenya hired Gerrard from Highland Executive Chauffeur to drive them around in his 1952 Silver Bentley for their wedding. Gerrard has recently added picnics to his services which feature locally made gourmet lunches, delicious wines and handcrafted locally made chocolates. Gerrard surprised Laura and Kenya by setting up a table for them to enjoy in the same field that they had been married in. I took a couple of photographs and then we stepped away so the newlyweds could enjoy a few moments alone together. Laura told me they loved the opportunity to really take in the view and reflect on their wedding ceremony.
The picnic recharged them, gave them a romantic moment together as newlyweds and will certainly be a lovely memory for them of their wedding day. A wedding day goes by so quickly I love the idea of setting aside some time to reflect on the ceremony together.
